Katencamp, Elizabeth

Elizabeth and Herman Katencamp were married for thirty-four years. Herman Katencamp was made Consul General for the Protection of Trade in the Two Sicilies and in Spain in 1772. The Kingdom of the Two Sicilies was the largest of the states of Italy before Italian unification. It was formed as a union of the Kingdom of Sicily and the Kingdom of Naples, which collectively had long been called the ‘Two Sicilies’.
